Theresa Jones received a B.F.A. in Dance Performance and a Master of Education Degree in Dance Education from Rutgers University. She has had extensive training in Ballet, Lyrical, Modern, Hip Hop, Jazz, Tap, Musical Theatre, African, and Latin styles. Theresa completed her dance training at Broadway Dance Center in New York City. There, she was a member of AIM Performance Company and a scholarship recipient. Theresa has trained at Steps on Broadway, Dance Sport, and The New Jersey School of Ballet. Some of her performances include: Madison Square Garden, Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, The U.S. Open, MTV’s TRL, Dancers Responding to AIDS, American College Dance Festival, Britney Spears Promotional Party, and ECA World Fitness Convention. Theresa has also appeared in Dance Magazine. She has been a public school dance teacher for Orange Public Schools for four years, where she is the director of the NJPAC Disney Musicals in Schools and Dance Ensembles. Last year, she was the Backstage Pass Coordinator for The Connection and she is excited to return to the position this summer!
