LINDA WHEELER

Linda Wheeler is a registered Yoga Teacher through the Yoga Alliance with additional certifications in cancer, cardiac, movement disorders, trauma & addiction and PTSD. She has earned the Matter of Balance and the NETA Senior Fitness Specialty Certification. In addition, she is certified in Yoga Nidra Meditation and has studied mindfulness through the Center for Mindfulness at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. Linda has also completed the 52 Weeks: Biomechanics and Body Alignment course.

Linda’s journey began 15 years ago when she suffered two falls that severely restricted her mobility. It was during her subsequent path to improved mobility, flexibility, and strength that Linda became a strong advocate of targeted-exercises and meditation as a vital tool in support of self-improvement.

In addition to The Connection, Linda teaches at various locations in the area and works privately with individuals to help them on their journey to improved health and wellness.

In her spare time, Linda continues to study biomechanics of the body and meditation with some of the leading teachers in the field. She volunteers her time to teach Project Healthy Bones, a state-sponsored program for those with osteoporosis.
