Starting June 16th, 2025, The Connection will enact a scanning check-in system at our front entrance. This important adaptation will enhance the security of our community as well as improve operational efficiency; giving us more time to focus on YOU, our members!
Q: What type of membership is needed to enter the facility?
A: While a paid membership is not required, all of our visitors must have an account in our Daxko system. This can be a free “non-member” account. Click here to create an account. For more detailed instructions, visit this page or contact Member Services. Exceptions to this rule may include interviewees or one-time vendors, who must be accompanied by a staff member.
Q: Do I need a membership card?
A: Upon entry, visitors may scan using their digital barcode (from your phone’s wallet or screen shot) or an assigned key tag. For instructions on how to access your barcode, visit this page or contact Member Services.
Q: What if another caregiver (a babysitter, for example) needs to pick up my child?
A: To enter the facility, caregivers can be added as “inactive” members on your family’s account. You can do this by logging into your account (click “+Add Members” under “Account”) or by contacting Member Services (account verification may be required to make changes in person or over the phone). To remove anyone from your account, please contact Member Services.
Please note that inactive adult members with email addresses on the account have access to edit profile information and add members.
Q: How does my other caregiver receive their barcode?
A: For inactive members who have emails on the account, they can login on a mobile device and select the blue barcode icon. Barcodes can be added to a phone’s “wallet” or as a screenshot. Please note that inactive ‘adult’ members with email addresses on the account have access to edit profile information and add members.
For inactive members without emails on the account, they would need to contact Member Services to receive a physical key tag.
Q: What if I am entering with my child(ren)?
A: Parents and caregivers may check-in on behalf of their accompanied children. For example, when an adult enters with their 2 children, only the adult needs to scan in. Please stay with your children while entering. However, children not accompanied by an adult are required to check-in (only 1 child per family required to check in).
Q: What if my child(ren) are entering by themselves?
A: Children not accompanied by an adult are required to check in with either their digital barcode or key tag. Only 1 child per family is required to check in.
Q: Is an account needed to take a tour of The Connection?
A: While an account is not needed for a prospective member tour, we do prefer to enter tours into our “Prospects” database, requiring a name, phone number, and email.
Q: As a “Total Facility” Member, do I still need to check-into the fitness center?
A: Yes, Total Facility Members must still scan into the fitness center, for membership verification and data purposes.
