Acro Foundations: Partner Balancing & Spotting

Saturday, February 15
3:15pm to 4:30pm

Registration Required. Click here to register.

Join us for a fun, introductory partner balance workshop!  After a group warm-up, we will work in small groups to teach basic partner balances and holds using only our body weight, such as L-basing and hand-to-foot.  We will also teach safe spotting techniques, so everyone can help each other and make new friends.  Come alone, with your special valentine, or the whole family!  Children must be at least 5 years old, and all children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.

For safety, participants should wear form-fitting clothing, be in socks or barefoot (barefoot preferred), wear no jewelry, and have hair pulled back. Bring a water bottle and a towel.

This education program is made possible in part by a 2025 HEART (History, Education, Arts Reaching Thousands) Grant from the Union County Board of County Commissioners.
