Summer Camps at The Connection

The Connection’s Summer Day Camps are about making friends, gaining self-confidence, learning to work together & having fun while making memories! For more than 90 years, The Connection has provided children with new and rewarding experiences! Full and Partial Scholarships are available for all classes and activities at The Connection, including camp. The Connection is licensed by the State of New Jersey and all of our staff is certified in American Red Cross CPR and First Aid. Our Aquatics staff is also certified in ARC Lifeguard Training. Michelle Stelluto

This will be Michelle’s 17th summer involved with The Connection’s camps. Before becoming Director of SummerFun, she worked as a counselor and Director of Travel Camp. Her goal every summer is for campers to leave each day with a smile, happy after a fulfilling day of new experiences and forever memories. During the school year, Michelle is the Director of Enrichment Programs and oversees our PreSchool, Cub House and AfterSchool sites. Read More …

Jessica Fascenelli Weisenbach

Jessica Fascenelli Weisenbach is The Connection’s Dance, Theater, & Specialty Camps Director in addition to the Dance & Performing Arts Director. A lifelong believer in the value of camp, Jessica loves being able to share the camp experience with our community. She has been working in summer camps for 12 years in a variety of roles from counselor to supervisor and this is her 6th year as Director.

Cassi Mendez

Cassi Mendez has been involved with the Gymnastics Program for the past 9 years and is currently the Assistant Director. She has a Masters in Communications and is a former competitive gymnast and cheerleader. Cassi is one of the coaches year-round for our competitive gymnastic team. She is also actively involved as a class instructor at all levels of our progressive class program. Read More …

Kelly Klaif

Kelly has been with The Connection for 9 years and this is her 4th year as Travel Camp Director. After three years at Franklin Elementary School as a 5th Grade teacher, she now teaches Kindergarten at Wilson Primary Center. Whenever she has free time, she is traveling, whether overseas or to fun and interesting places nearby. She can’t wait to experience all of these new day trips with the campers this summer!
