KinderQuest at Summit’s Primary Centers   An enrichment program for the other half of your Kindergarten student’s day offered in partnership with Summit Board of Education. Certified teachers instruct students with a curriculum written by the Board of Ed. Math, science, language arts, games, arts and crafts, story time, gym, outdoor play and a snack are included. Ages 5-6. Monday – Friday:   8:15 am – 11:20 am or 11:20 am – 3:15 pm   After School Programs Grades K – 5 Monday – Friday:  3:00 – 6:00 pm   After School at The Connection Director:  Michelle Stelluto   This program located at The Connection, gives your child the opportunity to take a class, such as swimming, gymnastics, dance, sports or karate. After school transportation from all Summit elementary schools, as well as Kent Place and Oak Knoll, is provided. Children from other school districts may be dropped off at the program. Fees include transportation and class costs.   In-school After School Programs at Jefferson School, Washington School, Lincoln-Hubbard School and Brayton School Director:  Kaitlyn Moore   Homework completion is an essential component of our program. Enrichment activities include arts, science, physical fitness, community service projects, recreation swimming, computer access and musical theatre performances. Programs are open to students of these four Summit elementary schools only. Children have access to the computer room, gymnasium, and outdoor play areas. Family-oriented monthly activities, including family dinners and parent workshops, are also offered.     Financial assistance is available. Call (908) 273-4242.   Flexible Drop-In Care Drop-in care when parents need it. Fun after school enrichment activities and homework assistance for students at our in school programs. The cost is $28/day. Credit cards over the phone or checks accepted in person. Reservations may be made by calling The Connection at (908) 273-4242 up to two weeks in advance. Pick up is anytime until 6:00 p.m. Drop-in care is not available on school vacation and single session days. Daily spaces are limited and subject to availability. Child must be a member, and must provide a medical form to the program.
