The Connection offers many childcare options for busy families including:
- Babysitting Children ages 4 months and up whose parents are using The Connection facilities are welcome to use the Babysitting Room. Parents must remain on site at The Connection. There is a two-hour daily limit for the babysitting room. The Babysitting Room is FREE for Total Facility members.
The fee for non-Total Facility members for the Babysitting Room is $3.00/hour for the first child and $2.00/hour for additional children. The Babysitting Room is available on a first come first serve basis andthe maximum number of children allowed at a time is 20. Please CLICK HERE for more information!
- The Connection’s Preschool Our enthusiastic and committed staff will help your child develop the habits, attitudes and skills that will prepare them to become active learners and successful students. Our creative, hands-on developmental curriculum includes music, art, dance, swimming and more! - KinderQuest at Summit’s Primary Centers Ages 5-6. Mon. – Fri. 8:15 a.m.–11:20 am or 11:20 am – 3:15 pm An enrichment program for the other half of your kindergarten student’s day offered in partnership with Summit Board of Education. Curriculum, written by the Board of Ed., includes math, science, language arts, games, arts and crafts, story time, gym and outdoor play.
- After School Programs Grades K – 5 Monday – Friday: 3:00 – 6:00 pm After School at The Connection
This program located at The Connection, gives your child the opportunity to take a class, such as swimming, gymnastics, dance, sports or karate. After school transportation from all Summit elementary schools and Primary Centers is provided. Children from other school districts may be dropped off at the program. Fees include transportation and class costs.
- In-school After School Programs at
Jefferson School, Washington School, Lincoln-Hubbard School and Brayton School All of The Connection's In-School programs start the day with a healthy snack. We ensure that each child goes home with his/her homework completed and corrected. Scheduled activities include cooking classes, free swim at The Connection and art classes. The program also includes field trips, fun seasonal projects, monthly family dinners and workshops. COME CHECK US OUT!
- Summer Day Camps at The Connection
Bring together children of all abilities, backgrounds and economic circumstances to enjoy swimming, gymnastics, performing arts, sports, outdoor play and games. Our camps are about making friends, gaining self-confidence, learning to work together, having fun and making great summer memories.
