Laura Burton

Laura Burton joined The Connection staff as the Youth Program Director in the Fall of 2015 and launched our S.T.E.A.M. program soon thereafter. She is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University, resident of New Providence and proud mother of two teenagers.This summer, Laura will be teaching “S.T.E.M Investigators” for ages 4+ (Weeks 1, 3, 7 & 9) and “Incredible Edible S.T.E.A.M” for ages 4+ (Weeks 4 & 6) at The Connection. DeAnna Nelson

DeAnna Nelson is a Summit native who grew up with a love of sports including soccer, swimming, basketball, softball and track. She has a degree in Health & Physical Education from West Chester University and is currently a Physical Education Aide in the Summit Public Schools. Maggie Maltese

Maggie grew up in Summit and is currently attending Drexel University in Philadelphia majoring in Game Design and Production. In High School she loved working on productions doing costuming and stage crew. This summer, Maggie will be the “Backstage Pass” Coordinator for ages 4+.
